Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2, 2026

Welcome to Resonance. Resonance is built and run by the Resonance team ("we"). By using the website or the apps you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13. If you're a minor, use Resonance with your parent's or guardian's permission.
  • You're responsible for everything done with your account; keep your way of signing in safe.
  • Your pen name must not impersonate someone else or suggest you speak for a person or organisation you don't.

Your content

  • The cards, messages and images you post are yours.
  • To run the service, you let us store, show and recommend your content within the visibility you choose, and create web addresses, tags and illustrations for it. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
  • You confirm you have the right to post what you post and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

Zero tolerance: what is not allowed

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don't post or send:

  • harassment, bullying, threats, or hate or discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar grounds;
  • sexual content involving minors, sexual exploitation, or intimate images shared without consent;
  • sexually explicit content, or content that glorifies or incites violence;
  • content that encourages self-harm or suicide;
  • other people's personal information without their consent, or impersonation;
  • spam, scams or malicious links;
  • content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights;
  • anything else that is illegal.

Reporting, blocking and what we do

  • Every card, profile and conversation can be reported. You can also block anyone: they can no longer reach you, and you no longer see their cards.
  • We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and suspend the accounts of people who break them.

Changes to the service

  • We may change, pause or end the service, and will give notice where we can.
  • If you break these terms we may remove content or suspend your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is". What users write represents their own views. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China).

Changes to these terms

If we make significant changes, we'll announce them on the website and in the apps and update the date on this page. Continuing to use Resonance after a change means you accept the new terms.
